What’s In Your Hands?
Voices of Hope from the Five & Two Network
In a world weary of top-down charity, a new and empowering approach to community development is bringing hope, peace, and dignity. In this new globe-spanning video, you will hear firsthand stories from leaders in Congo, Colombia, India, Iraq, and beyond—who are reimagining development through the lens of local vision and resources. In raw and personal interviews, these leaders reflect on the deep pain in their communities but then also describe hopeful and sustainable transformation that is happening from the inside out.

Where we work
Our Partners
We partner with people who are engaged in development throughout many sectors. Whether is nonprofit, business, agriculture or education, our partners are trained in the Community Centered Development Framework to ensure sustainable practices, flourishing communities, generative initiatives and thriving people from the inside out!
Invest in Community Leadership
We walk alongside local leadership who share our vision rather than hiring local people to run our programs. From formal organizations, to grassroots associations, we offer training, coaching and camps with the goal of making our leaders effective and sustainable as they work with vulnerable populations. Through the Five & Two Network, practitioners from over a dozen countries are collaborating together to help communities reach their developmental goals. We invite you to invest in these leaders who are helping to transform their communities through Community-Centred training, coaching and camps.
Build
Resilient Communities
Our network practitioners work in a variety of countries, cultures and community contexts with the most vulnerable populations. These leaders empower communities to discover, connect and mobilize their community strengths, gifts and passions. Together, whether it be through peacebuilding, youth care, or contributing to local food production, they are building their community from the inside out.
“The fulcrum for transformational change is no longer transferring resources or building capacity or increasing choices, as important as these things are. But these things count only if they take place in a way that allows the poor to recover their true identity and discover the vocation God intends for them.”
— Bryant Myers
