In partnership with Five & Two, Adorn champions ethical, social, and environmental responsibility through a Community-Centered Development approach. This isn’t just a model—it’s a movement. Makers are trained in this holistic framework and empowered to adapt it to their own communities, with steady guidance and encouragement from the Five & Two Network.
To keep our standards strong and our impact real, a Five & Two ethics advisor collaborates closely with Adorn regional directors, and conducts on-site visits every three years. It’s how we stay rooted in accountability—and in the people we serve.

Adorn fosters strong, personal relationships with makers, ensuring their holistic needs are met. All partners are trained in the CCD paradigm to promote community flourishing. Adorn honors every individual, with a strict no-child-labor and no-forced-labor policy.

Adorn prioritizes vulnerable groups such as women, displaced people, and those emerging from difficult situations. Adorn builds long-term, stable partnerships, providing job security and promoting reasonable working hours, rest, and Sabbath. Workshops and maker spaces are safe and healthy for workers and their families.

Adorn pays makers above fair market value, ensuring salaries exceed minimum wage and cover essential needs like food, healthcare, and education. Products are priced above the minimum to protect makers from market fluctuations and exploitation.
